CINCINNATI – Xavier senior Madison Reemsnyder enters a defining week of her collegiate career with her confidence at an all-time high. And for good reasons.

Reemsnyder secured a sponsor invitation into this week’s Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G, where she will be making her LPGA Tour tournament debut. She will be arriving to Maketewah Country Club on a hot streak. A member of the Xavier University Muskateers women’s golf team, she won her first two events in her collegiate career in April: the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational and low medalist at the BIG EAST Conference Championship. Just last week, she was named 2026 BIG EAST Women’s Golfer of the Year.

“Having confidence in myself really made me play well at the Therese Hession. Then winning that event gave me even more confidence going into the BIG EAST Conference Championships,” Reemsnyder said about the momentum she has built the past few weeks. “I've kept to my game, but just mentally, I've been in a great space ever since getting the sponsor exemption.”

Her recent performances have not only propelled her career and but also her confidence ahead of her LPGA Tour debut.

For Reemsnyder, receiving the sponsor invitation into the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G was pivotal to her success and confidence.

“I never pictured myself going pro or playing at this level,” she said. “And then, when I was chosen, I was like, ‘Wow, maybe I do have the capability of playing at this level.’”

Xavier’s women’s golf head coach, Stephanie Young, describes her as “Strong and Steady.” A phrase that represents Reemsnyder’s approach to her game and her impact within the program. Her success comes with hard work and grit

As the lone senior on the Xavier women’s golf team, Reemsnyder’s role became more than just about the scoring during the 2025-26 season.

“She loves Xavier University,” said Young. “She loves representing our women’s golf program. She’s a fantastic ambassador for both, and she loves Maketewah.”

Throughout her college career, it has been important to Reemsnyder to display her passion for the sport, while ensuring strong team culture and support for her teammates.

Since receiving the exemption and entering her final stretch of her collegiate career, Reemsnyder’s preparation is in full swing as she balances competing in the NCAA Regional Championships Monday-Wednesday of this week, followed by her upcoming LPGA debut on Thursday.

“I've practiced less on the facility and more playing the course just so I can get ready for the LPGA event because I won't have that practice round,” Reemsnyder said. “I've been trying to play it as much as I can and visualize how it's gonna be the week of.”

With Maketewah Country Club being the home course for the Xavier women’s and men’s golf programs, there is no one in the field who has more experience at Maketewah than Reemsnyder.

Now, she enters a week unlike any other.

First stop, NCAA Regionals.

Then, onto the LPGA Tour.

It’s a dream week for the senior, who is both excited, confident and ready to embrace it all.
